Rumour: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB / GTX 470 price cut repealed on November 14th

The rumour mill strongly questioned the feasibility of offering an enthusiast level 530mm2 GF100-based GTX 470 for $260, while rumours of the price cuts being temporary circulated around the web. This was further supported by Tom's Hardware's release day report suggesting the cards's "sale is only going to last three weeks". Fudzilla is now reporting a similar story, with the GTX 460 1 GB and GTX 470 set to rise in prices once again in mid November.
