ABC, CBS, and NBC have all denied Google TV access to TV episodes on their own websites, according to The Wall Street Journal. Spokespeople for the three biggest US television networks confirmed that they are blocking the episodes on their websites from playing on Google TV, although both ABC and NBC allow promotional clips to work using the service.

Apple revamped its MacBook Air this week and it was quickly discovered that the new laptop ships without Adobe Flash pre-installed. All previous generations of Macs have shipped with Adobe Flash, but those days are officially over. This wasn't just a one-time thing: every Mac sold from here on out will no longer include Flash. 50Mbps broadband certified on Boeing business jet
Boeing has become the first airplane manufacturer to put a 50Mbps broadband connection, about 100 times faster than most competing in-flight WiFi options, on a plane. The company announced the first certification and installation of Panasonic Avionics' eXConnect in-flight Internet service in one of its planes. The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737 aircraft will initially be used by Panasonic itself for ongoing testing, validation, and live demonstrations.

Sharp decides to quit the PC market
After concluding that turning a profit from stand-alone products was too difficult, Sharp has announced that it will no longer sell and manufacturer PCs, neither laptops nor desktops, according to Nikkei. The company did not say when it would cease all PC production, but it did stress that it would do so very shortly. Surprisingly, Sharp says that this is just a "strategic" move and that it may one day return to the PC market. Sharp's PCs did get a positive reception from consumers, but the company still decided to give up on selling PCs in Japan.
