Chatroulette Redirects Flashers To Hustler
Chatroulette has come up with a pretty funny way of making a little cash off of all the flashers that use the site. People that whip out their wang are being redirected to Hustler's website and permanently banned from Chatroulette. Obviously this isn't a long term business model but it is a pretty good idea. The answer was lazy, simple, and ingenious—in other words, pure Ternovskiy. He started redirecting pantless visitors to Hustler's Web site, and their computers would forever be blocked from Chatroulette. At first, Ternovskiy and his colleagues were banning a hundred thousand users a day, but now, he says, the flasher rate is down to one in two hundred—and Hustler pays for the referrals, giving Ternovskiy's company, at least for the time being, a healthy revenue stream. 19% Of Kids Can Buy M-Rated Titles?
A new study claims that almost 1 in 5 kids can buy M-rated games. Oddly enough, about the same percentage of kids sneak into the movies, buy cigarettes, drop out of high school and / or become pregnant. Thankfully our priorities are in order so we can put an end to M-rated games once and for all. The PTC site says it sent kids between the ages of 12 and 16 to 109 stores in 14 states, and 21 of those stores sold M-rated games to kids. K-Mart and Sears were the easiest marks, failing to card 62 percent of the kids. GameStop and Toys R Us stopped every purchase attempt. Comments

Apple Faces Legal Action over iPad Name
A Chinese company is threatening to file a lawsuit against Apple for trademark infringement. Apparently this company isn't familiar with Apple, this is business as usual for them and they consider "arrogant" a compliment. "It is arrogant of Apple to just ignore our rights and go ahead selling the iPad in this market, and we will oppose that," Mr Yang said. "Besides that, we are in big financial trouble and the trademarks are a valuable asset that could help us sort out part of that trouble." Comments

Are Texting and Facebook Worse for Teens Than TV?
Is texting and Facebook actually worse for teens than television? I don't know, aside from getting carpal tunnel syndrome or monkey thumbs at age twelve, I suppose they'd be equally bad for you. He admits, though, that there are some frightening aspects to the dependence today's teenagers have on technology. "They are so emotionally connected to being tied in with their friends 24 hours a day, if they get a text, they feel obligated to respond in seconds," he said. Comments

Dell Inspiron M101z Review
After completing a full review of the Dell Inspiron M101z, the crew at PC Perspective came to the conclusion that, while it isn't good for processor intensive tasks or gaming, it would be a great system for students. Here's a quote from the review: I enjoyed my time with the Dell M101z, but as I often find to be the case, the M101z stumbles not because it is bad but instead because there are other products that are slightly better. Still, the M101z's fabulous display and great audio does make a case for itself. Comments
