NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Prices Cut
vr-zone.com - NVIDIA released its GF104 part, the GTX 460 largely as a measure to regain market share than produce high profit margins. The aggressive pricing of the GTX 460 raised the eyebrows of enthusiasts, while consumers received exceptional value for money. Unfortunately, the GeForce GTX 460 hasn't been as much of a hit as expected, with supply outstripping demand. As a result, prices for the already bargain priced GTX 460 are dropping across the board. The GTX 460 768 MB, previously priced at $200, can now be had for as little as $180. The GTX 460 1 GB, has also dropped to $220.

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 Release Slides leaked
vr-zone.com - Chinese website IT168 has leaked slides from the release presentation of NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTS 450. While there are no major surprises, the slides confirm several rumours. The reference design of the GeForce GTS 450's body is identical to the reference GTX 460. It features 4 SM or PolyMorph Engines with 48 SP or CUDA Cores each (much like GF104, unlike GF100), for a total of 192 SP. The core is clocked at 783 MHz, with the shaders at 1566 MHz. 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 memory clocked at 900 MHz mean a low bandwidth of 57.6 GB/s, well below the likes of the HD 5770 and predecessor GTS 250. The GTS 450 features 32 TMUs, and looks like a fully enabled GF106 part. In essence, GF106 is GF104 cut in half.

[Rumour] "Blackcomb" is AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6000 Series Flagship
vr-zone.com - Donanimhaber reports that the AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6000 series will be headed by a GPU codenamed Blackcomb. Of course, Blackcomb will be based on a desktop chip, presumably either Barts or Cayman. For the Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series, AMD skipped the Cypress GPU completely, with the top Mobility Radeon HD 5870 being mainstream Juniper, featuring 800 SP and 128-bit memory. NVIDIA releases seven GeForce 400M Notebook GPUs, possibly GF104/6/8 Based
vr-zone.com - NVIDIA has unveiled seven mobile GPU parts today, most of them listed in the 259.47 driver leak. The cards released are two GTX 400M performance products - GTX 470M and GTX 460M, and no less than five GT 400M mainstream products - GT 445M, GT 435M, GT 425M, GT 420M and GT 415M. However, these cards reveal many peculiarities. NVIDIA insists that all the Geforce 400M products are Fermi DX11 based, and not rebrands, which could indicate the release of several GF106 and GF108 products, well before their desktop counterparts.
