Xbox 360 250GB Kinect Bundle Priced, Dated
Remember the Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle that got spotted a while back? Well, Microsoft went ahead and made it official in the early hours of the morning. The Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle will be launching on November 4th for $399 in the US and November 10th for £300 in the UK. The bundle will be a limited edition so availabilty should not be very high, depending on the demand. The bundle will include the new slim Xbox 360, the Kinect motion controller, a regular 360 controller, and a copy of Kinect Adventures! to try out the hands-free gaming. There will of course be the 4GB Kinect bundle and standalone systems available on the launch day, now you simply have the option of getting much more storage included albeit at a higher price.

Google Announces Google Instant Search
At an event held today at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Google announced the new Google Instant search which will pull up results as you type. Now, you no longer have to type the entire word or phrase and hit Enter, you can simply start typing and results will pull up instantly. Google Instant should be available now for desktop/laptop users while mobile users will get it this fall. The service is rolling out in the US, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Russia first with more countries to follow later on. The supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer 8 with native browser integration to follow which possibly means that results will start appearing as you type in the address bar. Google claims that the new Google Instant is a much faster way to search the web and will theoretically save over 350 million hours a year of searching. If you happen to not like this new feature, you can turn it off by going to your Preferences page or simply uncheck the box on the search results page.

Intel to Finally Support USB 3.0?
Intel hasn't exactly been the best of friends with the new USB 3.0 standard as only a small amount of its motherboards have the technology. That all may change soon however, as its next motherboard design, codenamed Cougar Point, could have USB 3.0 support built right in. This is simply a rumor for now but it would be nice for Intel to actually support the new standard on all its motherboard designs. A good portion of the AMD 800 series motherboards feature USB 3.0 but Intel is pretty late to the game with some new revisions of the P55/H55 and X58 motherboards supporting it. Manufacturers have taken it upon themselves to work in USB 3.0 on Intel motherboards because the chip giant hasn't really officially embraced it. This could change in the near future on upcoming motherboards but it is pure speculation at this point. Hopefully there will be some more information forthcoming.

AMD Plans to Change the Stickers on Desktops and Laptops
If you buy a laptop or even a pre-built desktop, odds are you will find some company stickers on the palm rest of the laptop or the bottom part of the case. In most cases, those stickers do not come off very easily and can leave some residue or even portions behind. Some people just leave them on to avoid the hassle of trying to remove them. AMD has heard the complaints and also does not like the stickers applied to its products. AMD told The New York Times that it is planning to change the way the stickers are applied to its products or even remove them altogether. AMD hopes to gives consumers an easier time to remove the stickers or simply drop them completely from appearing on its laptops and desktops. AMD will switch over to using different stickers that should be easier to peel off sometime in 2011. For now, AMD is leaving it up to the OEMs on whether or not to include the stickers.
