Week in Apple: OS X beta anniversary, nano review, HDR photography

This week's top Apple news covered all corners of the Apple universe, from nostalgia about the decade-old Mac OS X public beta and five years of iPod nano reviews to rumors about the next iPhone and Apple TV. We also looked at the latest iPod nano and analyzed Apple's HDR photography feature in iOS. Read on for the bite-sized roundup:
Ars reviews the 6th-generation iPod nano: all screen, all the time: The sixth-generation iPod nano is unlike any other iPod nano Apple has ever sold. I get that you might not have liked Halo in the past, and I get that the "normals" like it so you're skeptical, but what if everyone in the world started saying, for instance, the Olive Garden had this amazing new dish?
Would you pass it by because you don't like the Olive Garden, or would you loosen up a bit, listen to the people you trust, and give it a try? Getting rid of your preconceived notions of games and ceasing to judge titles by what you think of its fans will only lead to you playing more games you enjoy.
This week we have Civilization, we have Halo, and we have the HD update of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico finally confirmed. Take a look.
