ECS introduces Black Series P55H-AK motherboard for hardcore gamers

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has introduced the Black Series P55H-AK motherboard based on the Intel P55 Express chipset, for Intel LGA 1156 processors. Targeted at hardcore gamers, the black-and-white themed P55H-AK boasts a special overclocking interface, a whole slew of features including eSATA 6Gbps, and even the NVIDIA NF200 chipset.

AMD Phenom II X6 1075T BE Listed Online
vr-zone.com - AMD's Thuban still only retails as two Phenom II X6 CPUs - the 1055T and 1090T BE. A further 1035T is OEM only, with a widespread release of both 1035T and 1075T having long been anticipated. Finally, there are signs of Phenom II X6 1075T appearing online. As the nomenclature suggests, the 3.0 GHz 1075T fits in right between the $200 2.8 GHz 1055T and the $300 3.2 GHz 1090T. However, the 1075T is a Black Edition CPU, much like the 1090T BE, and pricing is expected end up closer to the 1090T BE, at around $265.

[Rumour] ATI Southern Islands / HD 6000 to release in November

[Rumour] AMD Phenom II X4 970 in September; Deneb and Zosma Variants

Though a new C3 revision was introduced in November 2009, AMD's Phenom II X4 line-up has remained largely unchanged, as other products have been regularly refreshed. The Phenom II X4 960T - Thuban (X6) with two cores disabled - was relegated to a limited OEM product.
AMD is finally preparing to unveil a new quad core CPU - the Phenom II X4 970 Black Edition in September. It will be a minor 100 MHz speed bump over the 965 BE, clocking in at 3.5GHz. Interestingly, rumours suggest two variants of the 970 - based on Deneb and Zosma respectively.

[Rumour] Intel Sandy Bridge Roadmap Leaked
vr-zone.com - Computerbase has leaked a table listing upcoming next-gen CPUs from Intel - Sandy Bridge. The first Sandy Bridge CPUs are quad/dual core, and is expected to release in January 2011. Enthusiast class 6/8 core Sandy Bridge variants will release in H2 2011. For now, however, Computerbase's list is dedicated to the mainstream/performance dual/quad core Sandy Bridge CPUs.

As previously rumoured, the Core i3/i5/i7 2000 series nomenclature is now widely accepted. In essence, the general trend will carry over from the current Core 2010 series, with a "2" prefix attached to separate Nehalem from Sandy Bridge.
