Nvidia GF100 512 SP Benchmarks Leaked
vr-zone.com - Due to severe yield issues with the GF100 chip at launch, Nvidia have only released a 480 SP version at most, which, as we know, is present as the Geforce GTX 480. The GTX 480 features 15 of the 16 SMs enabled. A fully enabled GF100, with 512 SP, has been rumoured ever since. Expreview have got hold of a fully enabled GF100 card, and performed some benchmarks on it. The 512 SP GF100 is clocked identically to the GTX 480 - 700/1400 MHz for Core/Shaders respectively, and 924 MHz GDDR5. The only change is a 6.25% increase in Shaders and TMUs. As one would expect, the performance increases are only minor, with an average boost of 5%-6%.
