MSI ships FX600 multimedia laptop to US, FX400 incoming
MSI has announced the US availability of its FX600 multimedia notebook, which was first unveiled at CeBIT earlier this year. The 15.6-incher starts at $800 via Newegg and other web merchants, and features a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 450M, an Nvidia GeForce GT 325M, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500GB hard drive, and a 1366x768 display resolution. There looks to be an optional 1080p screen, but it's not on any models we've spotted.

Toshiba Libretto now available for pre-order in the US
Toshiba's dual-screen clamshell tablet is officially on sale in the States, courtesy of Amazon.com. The site has opened a pre-order page for an iteration of the Libretto, model W105-L251. The device packs twin 7-inch multi-point touchscreens, with one acting as a standard computing display and the other serving as a software keyboard. The secondary display can also be utilized for other tasks, such as an extended reading area for ebooks.

Blizzard wins $88 million in private WoW server suit
A 2009 lawsuit between Blizzard and a private WoW server company has concluded with the former awarded sacks of cash. Blizzard filed suit against Scapegaming last October for illegally running a private World of Warcraft server that let people play the game without using official servers, bypassing the $15 monthly subscription fee.

WiMAX 2 standard to be finalized by November
Even though WiMAX's main backer in the U.S. is already mulling the possibility of adopting LTE technology in the near future, the WiMAX Forum industry group is moving full steam ahead with the next iteration of its 4G standard. According to the forum's marketing director, Declan Byrne, WiMAX 2 is due to be finalized in November, while the timeline for certification and commercial availability of hardware and devices remains in place for 2011 and 2012.

Crysis 2, Rage release dates revealed
We already knew Crysis 2 would not be arriving in time for the holiday shopping season, but the folks over at Crytek have finally given us a solid release date for the hotly anticipated sci-fi shooter. According to the company's Twitter feed, the game is set for a multi-platform release on March 22 in the United States and March 25 in Europe. If recent gameplay footage shared by the developer is anything to go by, Crysis 2 may very well be worth the wait.

Intel's SSD roadmap leaked, larger capacities incoming
A recently leaked Intel roadmap has revealed the company's plans to refresh its entire range of SSDs towards the end of this year and beginning of 2011. The lineup includes a new entry-level SSD, code-named Soda Creek, which will arrive early next year as a small form factor SATA device using 34nm process technology with 40GB and 80GB capacities.
