EVGA releases update to overclock GTX 460 by 7%
EVGA has released an update that should squeeze a little extra juice out of what is already one of today's best mainstream graphics card. The FPB (Free Performance Boost) BIOS update applies to a couple of the company's GTX 460 models and pushes the core and shader clock frequencies from 675/1350MHz to 720/1440MHz -- a 7% increase. Additionally, it unlocks the fan speed so it can be set to 100% via the EVGA Precision overclocking utility.

Next iPod touch to get FaceTime-compatible camera?
For the last few years Apple has updated its iPod lineup at an early September music-oriented event. This year will likely be no different; and it only makes sense that the next version of Apple's touch-friendly player would include some features from its latest smartphone. The higher-resolution 'Retina Display' seems like a fair bet. But recent leaks hint at another flagship iPhone 4 feature that might make it to the iPod touch: a front-facing, FaceTime-compatible camera.

Acer launches dual-boot Android/XP netbook in Taiwan
Acer showed off a new Aspire One netbook at the Taipei Computer Application Show this week that combines Google's Android mobile software and Microsoft's Windows XP in a dual-boot configuration. As you'd expect, the first serves as a fast-booting operating system for basic web-oriented tasks, and presumably run a number of applications from the Android Market, while Windows XP remains the primary operating system to perform a wider range of tasks.
