Corsair Launches Hydro Series H70 Cooler
Corsair has just launched its Hydro Series H70 CPU cooler which is the successor to the popular and successful H50 cooler. The H70 is the next step in the Hydro Series and builds upon the successful components of the H50. The H70 includes a radiator that is twice as thick and comes with two fans for a push/pull setup. The radiator is now 50mm thick and features higher heat-exchanging capacity along with a pump/cold plate unit with increased efficiency. The two fans it comes with are 120mm and are speed-switchable so you can get the ideal airflow in the push/pull configuration. The H70 features a low profile cold plate so it can fit in a wide variety of cases and is also low mass so not much stress will be put on the motherboard when it is attached to your processor. The H70 includes the mounting hardware for all the current Intel and AMD sockets so you should be able to fit it on any processor you wish. John Beekely, the VP of Technical Marketing at Corsair, feels that the H70 can go toe-to-toe with any other CPU cooler on the market all while delivering less noise, easier installation, and the support of nearly any ATX case.
