This 45nm Thuban based six-core Phenom II, which works at 3GHz, has unlocked BClk multiplier, 512kb of L2 cache (per core) and 6MB of L3 cache (total) should go shipping soon in Europe. It has a rated TDP of 125W and since it's an AM3 CPU, it's backward compatible with AM2+ socket so there's support for both DDR3-1333 and DDR2-1066 memory.

Xbox outsells Wii after three years
Sales figures show that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 outsold Nintendo Wii last month and Microsoft's team made the top selling video-game console in the U.S. for the first time in almost three years. Sales of the Xbox 360 more than doubled to 443,500 units, regaining the top spot for the first time since September 2007, according to bean counters at NPD Group. Punters bought 253,900 Wii players, which was about the same as last year while sales of Sony PS3 gained 76 percent to 214,500 units.

Internet Explorer 9 beta to be shipped September 15
Microsoft revealed it would post its first beta of Internet Explorer 9 on September 15. The browser will be accompanied by a special event in San Francisco and has had a unique tie-in through invitations: those attending the event have to use a browser with HTML5 support to solve a quiz and RSVP for the event.

Voice control now part of Android 2.2
Google has updated Android 2.2 Froyo adding 10 new voice commands that will help device owners use the phone without needing to use a keypad. The Voice Actions tool will let users dictate their text messages and emails by translating spoken word into text. Additionally, the tool can make phone calls after you speak a person's name, or find songs to play.
