YouTube started testing a new form of embedding code that would support both Flash and HTML5. Using iframes, this method will either revert to the familiar Flash plugin or switch to HTML5 depending on the browser and device. It will only force Flash when the video requires features HTML5 can't yet handle, such as ad overlays.

HP claims no Windows Phone 7 devices, ever
HP's Executive VP Todd Bradley confirmed in an interview that the company is dropping any future plans for a Microsoft OS on a phone. While he guarded himself by stressing that HP would still be Microsoft's biggest customer , Bradley told that there would never be a Windows Phone 7 device from HP. All future smartphones will use webOS, he said.

Indian government previews $35 Android tablet
The Indian government showed prototypes of what could be the least expensive tablet to date. The Sakshat hardware is targeted at education across the country and costs just $35 for a device with Wi-Fi, Ethernet and 2GB of internal storage. Costs are kept low by using free OS and a processor that, along with the screen, uses just 2W of power. To match, the tablet will have a portal dedicated to text and video courses for students that would use the device.

Powercolor now decides to launch a second version of this card, the LCS HD 5870 V2 featuring an improved PCB and a new water block. All 90,000 of Microsoft employees to receive Windows Phone 7 handset
Microsoft has set the goal of selling 30 million Windows 7 phones over the next few years, and the company has apparently gotten off to a quick start, purchasing a handset for all of their 90,000 employees. Senior product manager for Microsoft Greg Sullivan confirmed that Dell, Asus, LG, HTC and Samsung each have Windows Phone 7 devices in the pipeline.
