Japanese cooling specialist Scythe presents under the name of "Stronger" its new power supply series. These power supplies are now available with an output of 500 W, 600 W and 700 W both as a plug-in version with cable management for comfort, as well as a standard version with sleeved mesh cables.
The Stronger power supplies meet the 80Plus certification (at 20/50/100% load) and are based on an updated version of the proven technology that was already used in the Kamariki 4 series. In design terms, the Stronger series is also admirable. Simple yet stylish, matt black finish fits perfectly into the overall visual image of most PC cases. The 45 to 55 cm long cable strands of the plug-in, as well as the standard version are completely encased in durable, black mesh tube.

New GeForce 400 Series Member Named GeForce GTX 465, Clock Speeds Surface
Up until now, the third DirectX 11 compliant graphics SKU by NVIDIA, which was referred to as "GeForce GTX 460" has some confirmation in its naming, NVIDIA refers to it as "GeForce GTX 465". Some of its lesser known specifications that have come to light are: Clock speeds of 607 MHz (core), 1215 MHz (shader), and 801 MHz or 3206 MHz effective (memory). With a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, the card will feature 1 GB of memory. NVIDIA is said to have managed a TDP of 215W. The price-range targeted by this SKU is US $259 to $299. If market positioning of this SKU is anything to go by, the GTX 465 should be competitive with ATI Radeon HD 5850 and HD 5830.

Zotac Readies GeForce GTX 480 Amp! Edition Graphics Card
Zotac is ready with one of the first non-reference design GeForce GTX 480 graphics card, the Zotac GTX 480 amp! Edition. At the center of its design is the Zalman VF3000 GPU cooler sitting atop an NVIDIA reference design PCB. Overclocked out of the box, the amp! Edition card has clock speeds of 750 MHz (core), 1512 MHz (shader), and 950 MHz / 3800 MHz effective (memory), against reference speeds of 700/1401/924(3700) MHz.
The gigantic VF3000 cooler makes the card require three expansion slots. As with every other GTX 480, the GTX 480 Amp! Edition packs 480 CUDA cores, is DirectX 11 compliant, and has 1536 MB of GDDR5 memory across a 384-bit wide interface. Zotac has not let out any more information, particularly pricing and availability.
