MSI has announced that it is launching a new laptop, the CX705MX. The laptop is a 17.3" model that boasts an LED backlit screen with a 1600x900 resolution. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to a 500GB hard drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI and VGA out, an Ethernet port, three USB ports, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Probably the most eye catching feature is the graphics chip that powers this laptop, that being the all new ATI Radeon HD 545V discrete graphics chipset. That new Radeon means this laptop will be more than capable of playing HD video content and quite possibly, some light gaming to boot.
No word on pricing or availability was announced at this time, but expect more information soon.

Some rumors say that the update will be pushed when the Mac version becomes available, but nonetheless, it is good to see the Engineer class finally getting some kind of update.
