Apple responds to NPD report on Android growth
NPD released a report on Monday about Google Android platform overtaking Apple's iPhone platform, and it has been slammed by Apple today for being published on poor facts, the Cupertino company providing some data of their own to set the record straight in the face of the media. Setting their iPhone OS back at the 3rd most popular mobile operating system software, Apple's Natalie Harrison told the press that This NPD report is a very limited report on 150,000 US consumers responding to an online survey and does not account for the more than 85 million iPhone and iPod touch customers worldwide .

Google US search share drops in April
According to the latest data provided by online tracking company comScore, last month Google has seen its US search market share go down compared to March, while its main rivals, Yahoo and Bing, gained traction. The mighty Google is said to have had a 64.4% share in April, down from 65.1% in the previous month, while Yahoo and Microsoft's Bing secured themselves 17.7% and 11.8% pieces, up from 16.9% and 11.7%, respectively.
