Sharp Getting Into 3D TV Market
Sharp has announced that it will begin to sell 3D televisions by the summer. 3D technology is becoming increasingly popular these days, with many major movies featuring 3D, as well as televisions from several big name companies. Sharp will be adding the 3D models to its Aquos line of LCD televisions. The models will be unveiled in May and should be available in June, according to a Sharp spokesman. Sharp hopes to achieve 10% of its sales in the coming fiscal year from 3D, and plans to double or triple that number for the following year.
