Kid Builds iPad Stand for $12.40
It wouldn't be a news day without at least one mention of the iPad, actually I think it is a requirement now. Take matters into your own hands and create your own masterpiece. If the kid can do it, so can you. Take note all you DIYers and parents with creative kids. If you don't want to shell out $40 for a high-tech iPad stand, you can make your own--or have your kid make one. Comments

Spanish Hospital Claims First Full-Face Transplant
There is technology and then again there is technology. What these specialists have accomplished is nothing short of a technological miracle. The entire process is truly mind boggling. The Spanish patient, who was not identified, now has a completely new face from his hairline down and only one visible scar, which looks like a wrinkle running across his neck, said Barret, who headed the 30-member surgical team. The man cannot yet speak, eat or smile, but he can see and swallow saliva, the surgeon said. E. Rex Is a 3-Wheeled Electric Hooligan
This ia one bad mothe....uh, motor scooter. If you have a spare $51k lying around and if it ever goes into production, you'll be in business. The E. Rex is the three-wheeled, electric equivalent of Â… well, we're not quite sure. Something absurdly fast, ridiculously fun and more than a little impractical. PlayStation to Stream Pro Baseball
By the end of the week, PlayStation owners will be able to sign up with MLB.TV to watch out-of-market baseball games transmitted over the Internet. Looks like just another house cleaning to me. Meanies This is not the first time Blizzard has done something like this. In November of 2008 they banned over 350,000 accounts from Battle.net stating, "Cheating ruins the game experience for legitimate players, and we will not tolerate it." Comments

3-D Video Gaming Aspires to Become Spectacle
Game developers, business executives and 3-D gaming advocates converged at a Universal City hotel this week to discuss the future of gaming. The topic was 3-D gaming, the high cost of end user initialization and those pesky 3-D glasses. They don't wish to be left in the wake of recent 3-D movie and TV innovations. For many modern games, the leap to 3-D is actually just a step. The medium is well suited for 3-D because the majority of today's games are created in three dimensions, making conversion a snap. Eisler said more than 400 current PC games, including "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" and "Resident Evil 5," can be played in 3-D with the right equipment Comments
