NVIDIA Announces GTX 580
The crew at Overclockers Club has the lowdown on NVIDIA's surprise GTX 580 announcement. Apparently ATI has something up its sleeve today too, the quad-GPU HD 5999. Who could've imagined all these awesome GPU announcements would hit on a day like today? What are the odds? "Although we're very proud of the GTX 480," NVIDIA President and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said, "the 400 series is merely a tease for what Fermi can really accomplish. Don't Be Fooled by Software Pirates
There is a sense of relief when a cruel joke is quickly followed by a wisecracking "April Fools!" But when consumers fall victim to software piracy, you can be sure a pirate won't relieve their misery with humor. A recent survey conducted by the Business Action to Stop Counterfeiting and Piracy (BASCAP)1 revealed that some consumers perceived the counterfeit business to be harmless and not unethical because no one gets hurt. Right? Wrong. Comments
