XP Mode for Windows 7 now runs on any x86 CPU
Microsoft has today eased the transition to Windows 7 for business users by announcing that XP Mode will now function without the need for specific CPUs. XP Mode, a virtual machine package for Windows 7 containing a pre-installed version of Windows XP, allows users to run a virtual Windows XP environment through which older applications can retain compatibility. The introduction of XP Mode has been deemed critical in convincing business users to upgrade to Windows 7, but originally launched with specific hardware requirements - XP mode would only run on systems equipped with processors supporting Intel VT or AMD-V.

IE loses share after browser ballot
Microsoft has lost share in web browsers since Europe's browser ballot was rolled out, new data confirmed yesterday. While Internet Explorer's worldwide share has been largely stable, European data from Statcounter shows that the browser has lost almost 1 percent in the UK, 1.3 percent in Italy and 2.5 percent in France with about a month of the ballot being active in trial form. A full deployment is due in May.

Google China now redirects to Google Hong Kong
This is a quick blurb until there is more information, but it appears that heading to Google.cn, which is the Chinese Google portal, now redirects the site directly to Hong Kong version of this web search engine, www.google.com.hk.
