NVIDIA Marketing Director poses bomb scare

A marketing director for Santa Clara-based NVIDIA is facing a misdemeanor charge after he allegedly told a flight attendant at San Francisco International Airport that he had a bomb in his jacket, prosecutors said Monday. It is a wonder how NVIDIA managed to find an empty spot for someone as insensitive to the raised airport security during Lunar New Year festivities as Lui.

Verizon subscribers can now make free Skype-to-Skype calls

Verizon and Skype have recently announced their collaboration to bring Skype to Verizon Wireless smartphone users. The move means that Verizon subscribers can now make free, unlimited Skype-to-Skype voice calls around the world (though that doesnt apply to SkypeOut). Read on for the full news release.

Meego. That's the name of the new open-source platform from the collaboration of Intel and Nokia. According to both companies, the Linux-based platform can be run on various computing devices, including netbooks, smartphones, tablets, connected TVs and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
