MSI Radeon HD 5450 1GB Video Card Pictured and For Sale

Looks like an online e-tailer called DATEKS over in Latvia is selling the MSI Radeon HD 5450 graphics card on their website before the card has even been announced! They don't list much information other than the ATI Radeon HD 5450 features 1024 MB of GDDR5-1600 memory, a clock speed of 650 MHz and a model number of R5450-MD1GH. They do have a picture for you to look at though and if you look close you can see that the card features a DVI, VGA and what looks like a DisplayPort or HDMI connection. If that is DisplayPort that means this card can support ATI Eyefinity.

Diamond Radeon HD 5750 OC Video Card Performance Review

Today we have the opportunity to look at the Diamond Radeon HD5750 OC video card. There are a few features about this card that break away from the reference design. The first thing I noticed when looking at the card is that it uses a bright red PCB. Possibly the most important feature, though, is the speed of the card. It comes overclocked from the factory. It also uses a third party cooler in order to reduce noise and temperatures.

iXBT Labs Review: Intel Celeron E3300 Processor and other reviews from around the web can be found by visiting our forums!

"There are two angles to comment the performance of the Celeron from. On the one hand, we can see it's not that bad. It's the level of dual-core Athlon X2, not the lowest-end at that. However, from the other point of view, you can get much more in the low-end segment for a similar price."

New Mass Effect 2 hotfix for Catalyst 10.1

Hot on the heels (pun intended) of the latest Catalyst release 10.1 is a hotfix to correct an Anti-Aliasing problem for CrossFireX users. Although February is in sight, it would seem that this was urgent enough not to wait the few weeks for their normal monthly update.

ATI CATALYST HOTFIX 10.1

The option to use Anti-Aliasing is not available in ATI CrossFireX mode when using an ATI Radeon HD series graphic card.

Apple iPad Event Leaves Verizon iPhone Rumors Adrift

Many rumors have been afloat about the end of AT&T's as the exclusive carrier for apples iPhone. Many were speculating that it would be announced at the same time as the iPad. However, Apple CEO Steve Jobs, and his colleagues, kept yesterdays spotlight on the iPad.

Apple iPhone

Apple has already signed multiple iPhone carrier agreements in other major countries, such as the U.K. and France, so it feels like just a matter of time before one or more additional operators in the U.S. get their hands on the device, Mawston continued. Having said that, AT&T was Apple's first launch partner and it gave the iPhone its first big break in 2007, so perhaps Apple may stay more loyal to AT&T than some expect.

Scammers Hop on iPad Bandwagon

It seems that scammers have a calling for being extremely active around times of massive product launches, such as for Apple's new iPad. What brings them out is the fact that they know millions of users are searching for more info about the hottest of topics, so all they have to do is hop onto the trend. Users need to take caution when searching as there is an abundance of malicious links littered throughout the results. Users need to make sure they do not download every app that claims to remove malicious software on their PC that may or may not exist. Remember: Why would a product launch mean you need new antivirus? Simply stick to sites you know and trust.

Antivirus makers Trend Micro and Panda Security, along with the threat-tracking Internet Storm Center, have posts warning about malicious results for search terms such as "apple tablet announcement." Crooks have for years used such SEO poisoning to snare unwary surfers. According to Trend, clicking one of the malicious links leads to rogue antivirus software, another online scam that uses fake but professional-looking software to warn of nonexistent infections. Victims are exhorted to purchase a license for the worthless software to clean up the supposedly discovered malware.

Get Your Kingston 40GB SSD to Support Intel TRIM

Overclocker.net has posted a very nice guide in getting your Kingston SSDNow V Series 40GB SATA drive to support Intels TRIM and unlock its functionality. Since the Kingston SSD is very similar to Intels X-25-V SSD drive, a few clever people figured out how to upgrade the Kingston firmware to allow TRIM support.

Kingston SSDNow Solid State Drive Bundle Kit

The Kingston 40GB SSDNOW drives feature Intel flash chips and an Intel memory controller. The Kingston V series Boot drives are pretty much identical to the Intel X-25-V SSD drives. Thus why this Intel firmware fix for trim is possible. As such Only Intel firmwares will work with this drive. As Intel gave Kingston the shaft it is up to the consumers to mess around and mod the Intel firmware to support TRIM. Thanks Intel...Thanks
