A federal appeals court ordered Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) to stop selling its popular Word 2007 software, rejecting the company's appeal and confirming the ruling of a lower court. The injunction, which the software maker says will affect Microsoft Office 2007, takes effect Jan. 11.
