Thermaltake readies the new family of stylish HDD and SSD enclosures named SilverRiver II. These aluminum enclosures have 3.5-inch (ST0016 and ST0017) and 2.5-inch (ST0018) form factors, measure 195 x 125 x 70 mm and 136 x 79 x 17 mm, respectively, and support SATA 1.5 Gbps/3.0 Gbps drives. Sony Ericsson Vivaz brings 720p capture to US phones
After a premature reveal on Wednesday, Sony Ericsson today officially took the wraps from one of the first phones to provide HD video capture in a US-ready form. The Vivaz is now known to include North American 850MHz 3G and will let those on AT T, Rogers and others record 720p video they can then push to Picasa or YouTube. In a small tweak to Apple, Sony Ericsson also touts that its uploads will work in the background, although full 720p detail will need to go over Wi-Fi due to battery worries.

Kids spend more time online and watching TV as sleeping
According to a new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation, children ages 8-18 spend about nine and a half hours glued to screens, including TV, computers, MP3 players and phones. The study, dubbed Generation M2: Media in the Lives of 8- to 18-year-olds, showed that kids are spending more time with media then sleeping. It appears that it may be affecting their school work as well.

Corsair Dominator GTX world's fastest XMP-certified memory
Corsair has today confirmed that its Dominator GTX memory module has been awarded Intel XMP certification at a speed of 2,333MHz with latencies of 9-11-9-27 and voltage at 1.65V. Intel's engineers certified the numbers on a P55 test platform configured with a GIGABYTE GA-P55-UD4P motherboard, but for the overclocking enthusiast, Intel's seal of approval ultimately emphasises the module's performance credentials.

Apple adds Windows 7 support to Boot Camp
Apple has issued an update for its Boot Camp software that brings official support for Microsoft's Windows 7. The 3.1 patch for Boot Camp also addresses issues with the Apple trackpad, turns off the red digital audio port LED on laptop computers when it is not being used, and adds support for the Apple wireless keyboard and Magic mouse.
