Another Asus ebook reader detailed
Asus seems to be quite keen on getting its name in the e-reader market: in addition to the color DR-570, Asus is apparently preparing another one, the DR-950. Unlike OLED DR-570, this one has a 9-inch grayscale touch screen and some features that are similar to other e-readers on the market.

Sneak Peak To NVidia's Upcoming GPU, GF100 (Fermi)
Last week during CES in Las Vegas NVIDA held a sort of Deep Drive conference where they shared some new info regarding GF 100 – Graphics Fermi. As you have probably concluded by now, it is a codename for their upcoming series of graphic cards. Final name wasn’t reveled, but I think that nobody would be surprised to see something like GTX 360 and GTX 380 on the launch day, similar to 200 series launch. Speaking about launch day, that one wasn’t reveled either, actually, there were no more info other than “It is in mass production now” and “… it will be shipped this quarter”, so we are purely speculating when we say that Cebit time launch and late March availability wouldn’t be so much a surprise.

VMware launches VMware Go web-based service
VMware unveiled a new service aiming to simplify the process of virtualising servers for both small and medium-sized businesses. Named 'Go', this service will allow SMBs to both install and configure VMware's own ESXi hypervisor tool, and better still, both sides of the service are being offered completely free of charge.

Windows 7 SP1 release date reported
Despite generating a good vibe around the world, Windows 7 is still facing the resilience of certain businesses of upgrading to a new operating system before it received a significant update, like a Service Pack. Due to this situation Microsoft has been working hard on bringing the first SP for Windows 7 to market as soon as possible, and according to one report that means September (2010). This is pretty much in line with previous rumors that claimed Microsoft is targeting an autumn 2010 release for Win 7 SP1.

Next Android revamp named "Froyo"
Google confirmed that it already has a major update to Android 2.x with word of its next codename. Android Senior Product Manager Erick Tseng in an interview told that the next revision is nicknamed Froyo , short for frozen yoghurt. The naming is in sync with past Android revisions' dessert themes, as 1.6 was nicknamed Donut and 2.0 was Eclair .

Sony adds Internet Video Link to PS3
Sony Electronics USA President Stan Glasgow has revealed that the PlayStation 3 will soon be getting support for the BRAVIA Internet Video Link streaming video service. New Sony Bravia HDTVs currently are compatible with the service, and those with older sets can purchase an add-on module.

CES 2010: Samsung goes 3D
Not only did they announce a new lineup of 3D products that includes new TV's, a new Blu-ray player, and a home theater system, but Samsung also announced a partnership with Technicolor and Dreamworks. Another interesting announcement from Samsung came with the release of the their new ebook reader (E6). They released their ebook reader, but also announced a partnership with Google to bring titles from the Google books collection to their new product.
