Mobile ad sector heats up as Opera buys AdMarvel
Opera has acquired AdMarvel, which has developed a product suite that manages how ads are delivered to mobile phones, the Norwegian Web browser company said on Wednesday.

Chip makers see stronger DRAM memory prices this year
Taiwan's biggest DRAM maker, Nanya Technology, reported its first net profit in nearly three years on Wednesday, as DRAM prices rose and demand remained strong in the fourth quarter of last year.
But the company's fortunes came at a cost to anyone buying a new PC. The price of mainstream DRAM chips posted a strong rebound last year after hitting multi-year lows, rising 266 percent, according to investment bank Credit Suisse.

IBM reports 10 percent jump in profit for Q4
IBM on Tuesday reported a 10 percent jump in profit for the fourth quarter as revenue increased at the company for the first time in more than a year.
IBM reported a profit of $3.59 per share, up from $3.27 in the same quarter last year and ahead of the $3.47 that financial analysts had been expecting, according to Thomson Reuters.
