TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.3.8 released
TechPowerUp released the newest version of GPU-Z, our graphics subsystem information and monitoring utility. Version 0.3.8 brings with it some useful updates that fix several crashes and add useful features to the vast amount of information this tiny utility can display. GPU-Z now displays three GPU load percentages on NVIDIA GPUs: 3D rendering core, memory controller and video acceleration engine. In addition to that we set the foundation to allow multi-language support in GPU-Z in the future. To move forward with this we'd like native speakers to help with support for their language. The whole effort is coordinated in our GPU-Z Translation Forum.

Sharkon Readies LanPort ''USB Servers''
Sharkoon is out with a unique pair of devices it refers to as LanPort "USB servers". The function of these devices is to let USB ports being shared by computers across a network. The main unit connects to a wired network over a common RJ-45 port (probably 10/100 Mbps), and takes in a 5V DC power input (to power the ports) and gives out USB ports. The LanPort 100 comes with just one USB port, while LanPort 400 comes with four. Any USB device, such as mass-storage (flash drives, external HDDs, PMPs), printers, scanners, etc., can be shared.
The device comes with its own web-interface that lets users configure it, while the bundled software helps handle the configuration, and sets up a layer between the PC and the remotely connected USB devices. The software supports Windows 7, XP, and Vista. Sharkoon's LanPort 100 and LanPort 400 will become available soon and with price-tags of 23 Euro and 37 Euro, respectively.

PowerColor Intros HD 5770 BattleForge Edition V2 Graphics Card
PowerColor is yet another AMD AIB partner to slip in a newer cost-effective ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card without making much noise. The new HD 5770 V2 model from PowerColor (AX5770 1GBD5-MDHGV2) uses the simpler (cost-effective) GPU cooler, while retaining the original design for the rest of the card. It includes a coupon for the popular PC game BattleForge.
The rest of its specifications are standard. The Juniper GPU packs 800 stream processors, DirectX 11 compliance, and the card features 1 GB of memory across a 128-bit wide GDDR5 interface. It draws power from one 6-pin power connector, and supports ATI CrossfireX. Display connectivity includes two DVI-D, and one each of HDMI with 7.1 channel audio, and DisplayPort. The GPU is clocked at 850 MHz, and memory at 1200 MHz. It is expected to be priced slightly lower than the original reference design model (AX5770 1GBD5-MDHG).
