Intel plans no 32nm quad cores in 2010
According to the latest roadmap, Intel doesn't plan on releasing any 32nm quad cores in 2010. The quad-core roadmap is filled with either Nehalem or Lynnfield based 45nm quads and at this time, there are no any indications that 2010 will get a new 32nm quad. Chinese pirates clone Windows XP, sort of
Some Chinese pirates had made a hacked version of Windows XP but for some reason Microsoft cracked down on it. They answer with the Ylmf OS, a Linux distro with a GUI resembling the look of Windows XP. If you have a look at the download page (http://ylmf.org/download) and are fluent in Chinese you will find an ISO of an Ubuntu-based distribution that you can download. Unfortunately looking at the testing, and the screenshots, would suggest that the OS's GUI is purely Chinese too.

Apple tablet pushed to winter due to glass issue
At least one heavily rumored Apple tablet was moved to early 2010 to accommodate a glass panel issue, as it's claimed by the industry tipsters. Parts suppliers now say Taiwan's Innolux is providing 10-inch panels to Apple but that the release was moved to its supposed early 2010 release date to toughen the glass. Foxconn division G-Tech Optoelectronics, as well as Wah Hong Industrial, are said to have been contracted to provide toughening material and film to protect the larger screen.
