Athlon II X3 435 Triple Core Processor @ TechwareLabs :: Posted by THRASHER2
With the ongoing buzz of people worrying about the economy and their own funds, the term "low budget" is becoming used far more often. Today, we are going to be looking at AMD's Athlon II X3 435 processor. The Athlon II X3 435 has 1.5MBs of L2 Cache per core and is a 95W (45nm) processor. It supports all the same features found in the rest of the Athlon II processors (X2, X3 and X4 alike). However, AMD's larger aim is based on it's price point. With a amazing sub $90 price there should be no reason not to take a second look at the new Athlon II CPUs, especially if you are on a budget.

ASRock M3A785GXH/128M Motherboard Review :: Posted by THRASHER2
"The ASRock M3A785GXH128M uses a 4+1 Phase power design. While this might be a red flag for some, we were able to overclock a 140W Phenom II X4 965 to a vCore of 1.55v with just a simple 80mm fan blowing across the MOSFETs. With a BIOS made for overclocking and AMD's awesome OverDrive at our disposal we were able to squeeze an extra 500mhz out of our Phenom II X4 965 Black edition Processor. Even with bare MOSFETS we had no trouble cranking up the voltage to 1.52v. and were able to reach 3.9GHz!"

LiteON iHAS424 Dual-Layer DVD Writer Review :: Posted by THRASHER2
"For a good example of the features a modern optical drive should have, look no further than the Lite-On iHAS424 DL-DVD burner. It's got everything you'd expect from a DVD-writer, including dual-layer DVD writing and reading, compatibility with both + and - formats, as well as support for lightscribe label burning if you have photosensitive media. Of course, it'll also read and write CD-Rs and CD-RWs."

Sapphire HD 5750 1 GB GDDR5 @ techPowerUp :: Posted by THRASHER2
Sapphire's HD 5750 is priced competitively below $150 and offers all the new features like DirectX 11, AMD Eyefinity, native HDMI & DP and more. Even though the cooler does not look like it, it works extremely well and keeps the card cool and very quiet. We were also able to overclock our sample by more than 20% which essentialy brings the HD 5750's performance to levels of the HD 5770.

Synology DS209 Advance NAS Enclosures @ Pro-Clockers :: Posted by THRASHER2
The power supply is the foundation of any computer. Without it, all that expensive, high-performance gear just sits idle. You can go without a case. Some people do. However, none of those bells and whistles are going to make a peep, if you don't have a power supply. Not only that, but you should never skimp on your power supply. I've seen more than a few computers taken out by a failing PSU. I've even seen one catch fire at a Lan Party I was attending. The site of a grown man crying isn't pretty. It is especially ugly when all of his friends are playing video games and making fun of him. This is the age of digital media and mass storage. Digital downloading is present in many homes via sites like iTunes and Rhapsody. Many people have digital cameras and high definition video cameras. We need massive storage capacities in order to save the large formats raw or in jpeg. Let's not forget about the large amounts of space these video camera video files can take up. You're going to need a place to keep all that data. That device is the Synology DS209 which we will be reviewing next.

Pantech C790 Reveal @ TestFreaks :: Posted by THRASHER2
"The Reveal is for AT&T and itآ’s considered a messaging phone, it features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and a regular dialer keypad as well. Itآ’s got a 1.3MP camera in it, along with bluetooth, AT&T navigator and access to most all other stuff on the AT&T network as well. Itآ’s not a smartphone by any means, but it resembles one. One of the nice features of the Reveal is that both keyboards are active at the same time so basically youآ’ve got a full QWERTY keyboard with a separate numeric keypad as well, so thereآ’s no pushing a function button to access numbers.
