
AMD Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity Edition pictured
We know all about the Radeon HD 5870 by now, but what of its six-output supporting cousin the Eyefinity Edition?آ Chinese site PC Pop has managed to snag pictures aplenty of this new board which allows you to make the most of AMD's Eyefinity technology, thanks not only to those additional outputs (there are six mini DisplayPort outputs on the card) but also via a 2GB frame buffer (and, it seems, high power consumption with a combination of six-pin and eight-pin PCI Express power connectors required).

NVIDIA reports $107.6 million third quarter profit
It's been a rough time for NVIDIA of late, but despite their continuing problems they've still succeeded in returning to profit for the third quarter of this current financial year.
Nvidia actually managed to beat last year's numbers, posting 6% higher revenue and 74% higher net profits. Company CEO Jen-Hsun Huang credits "healthy market demand across the board" for the growth, adding that Nvidia saw improvements in each of its businesses. That growth sounds roughly in line with what AMD and Intel have reported recently.
