Google Claims Apple Rejected Google Voice App

In an announcement that didn't surprise me at all, Google claims that Apple did in fact reject the Google Voice app from the Apple Store. Apple had told the FCC that it was still looking into the app. However, in a recent letter to the FCC, Google states that the app was rejected “because Apple believed the application duplicated the core dialer functionality of the iPhone.” In the ongoing FCC investigation of the wireless industry, one of these companies will likely be fined for lying to the government. Rumors say that Google has proof that Apple rejected the app, which would likely be revealed if Apple doesn't waver in its stance.
