Cooler Master Hyper N620 LGA 1366 Ready CPU Cooler Review :: Posted by THRASHER2
آ“Cooler Master has been around for over a decade. Though they are probably now better known for their excellent PC cases, their original primary products were coolers and they continue to build high performance air coolers along with all of their other products. Today I will be looking at the Cooler Master Hyper N620 CPU cooler. With six heatpipes and dual flow-thru fan design, it looks quite promising to keep the i7's temperatures under control. Will the Hyper N620 do it? Read on to see!"

AMD ATI Radeon HD 5870 DirectX 11 GPU :: Posted by THRASHER2
We've got a sneaking suspicion that telling you all about the first DirectX 11 compatible GPU, that's crammed with over 2 billion transistors, produced using an advanced 40nm process, would get you all worked up into the kind of frenzy that a no pithy intro could. So, feast your eyes on the Radeon HD 5870, check out the specs and features below, and read on for full scoop on AMD's latest flagship GPU. Just don't get too worked up, too quickly. We want you to make it all the way to the end without passing out...

ATI Radeon HD 5870 DX11 Video Card Review @ Legit Reviews :: Posted by THRASHER2
"From a performance perspective the ATI Radeon HD 5870 blew away the Radeon HD 4890 and the GeForce GTX 285 graphics cards in the benchmarks that we ran on Windows 7. The Radeon HD 5870 is by far the fastest single GPU graphics card that we have ever benchmarked and it is the real deal. It doesn't have an annoyingly loud fan, suck down obsessive amounts of power or heat up your room while you aren't gaming. The user experience with this card is very well rounded and it is tough to find anything negative to say about it..."

AMD Radeon HD 5870 PCI-Express Scaling @ techPowerUp :: Posted by THRASHER2
AMD's latest generation of graphics cards offers unprecedented single GPU performance levels. Such performance requires an optimum environment, especially important is PCI-Express bandwidth. We investigate if these cards can still deliver on a PCI-E x8, x4 or even x1 link.

ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB Graphics Card and AMD Eyefinity :: Posted by THRASHER2
"The new AMD Radeon HD 5870 is the fastest single-GPU graphics card
you can purchase today and will likely remain that way through at least the
end of the year. The new Evergreen core, with its 1600 shader processors
and improved texturing power, is able to best the GT200 core that was
dominating the HD 4800-series cards in every aspect except efficiency. Add
to that mix support for DirectX 11 gaming and compute applications with new
features like Eyefinity and you have all the makings of a fantastic product
launch that will dominate the GPU market for months. The one caveat is
that AMD has left the GTX 285 still as a relevant graphics card option..."

Lucid HYDRA Multi-GPU Technology Launches :: Posted by THRASHER2
"Lucid and MSI are teaming to announce the "Big Bang" motherboard
that sports the HYDRA 200 chip and three fully functional PCIe slots for
multi-GPU gaming. We are told this board will be available sometime in the
next 30 days though pricing is still in the air.

Lucid did let us see the HYDRA system in action on the combined AMD/NVIDIA
system but the company is not releasing performance numbers at this time.
Based on what I saw last year as compared to this year, I am confident that
it will achieve competitive gaming performance."

AMD Eyefinity Demonstrations on Batman, Left 4 Dead, Far Cry :: Posted by THRASHER2
"This technology shift allowed AMD to create a new class of GPU that
will support at three displays per graphics card and will eventually add a
6-display option to its ranks. Not only does this add to the already well
documented benefits of multiple displays from a productivity perspective,
but AMD has added in something unique for the gamers out there: super-high
resolution multi-monitor gaming. Imagine the option of being able to
combine 6 30" displays in a 3x2 configuration to create a 7680x3200
"screen" (24.6 MPixels!!) for gaming purposes! That is the equivalent of
about a 70" diagonal display!"

Intel shows Larrabee demo for the first time at IDF :: Posted by THRASHER2
"This ray tracing demo has been seen many times before, from Daniel
Pohl, but not until now have we seen it running on Larrabee. In fact, this
demo was running fairly smooth (I am guessing a framerate in the 20s) and
at a higher resolution (based on the monitor displayed I am guessing
1600x1200) that other demonstrations rendering solely on the CPU."

NZXT Zero 2 Computer Case Review @ Tweaknews :: Posted by THRASHER2
"So, how does the Zero 2 compare to the original? Is this an update or a downgrade? After playing with the Zero 2 for about a week, I'd have to say that it is a bit of both. NZXT kept the form factor but changed the case material from aluminum to steel, making it much more robust and almost six pounds heavier."
