Thermaltake V9 BlacX Edition comes with dual-HDD dock
Thermaltake announces the readiness of the V9 BlacX Edition, the first mid-tower to feature a built-in dual-bay docking station (found on top) which enables quick access to 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives. Thermaltake's new case measures 490 x 215 x 480 mm and weights 6.85kg, is colored in black both inside and out and boasts four exposed 5.25-inch bays a top I/O panel with one audio, one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port.

MSI readies all-in-one Wind Top AE2280 PC
MSI has presented a new member of the Wind Top family, an all-in-one desktop PC called AE2280 that combines a 21.5-inch (1920 x 1080) multi-touch display with Intel processing power and AMD DirectX 11 graphics. The shiny all-in-one measures 555 x 404 x 75 mm and includes a Core i3-530/540 or i5-650 CPU, up to 8GB of RAM, a 640GB hard drive, a DVD writer, a Mobility Radeon HD 5430 or Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics, and Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit preinstalled.

Pentium E6700 coming late this year
Intel's Pentium 6700, which was supposed to launch in Q2 2010, is now pushed to Q4 2010 as E6600 should be just good enough for buyers, thinks the company. The E6700 will be a successor of the E6600 CPU in legacy market segment. The Pentium E6600 that is supposed to launch in Q3 2010 should work at 3.06GHz has 1066MHz FSB, 2MB cache and it’s based on dual core Wolfdale 45nm core. The E6600 will replace the E6500 clocked at 2.93GHz.

Windows XP end-of-sales date coming soon
Via the Windows Team Blog, Microsoft has reiterated its plan to end life of Windows XP netbook and replace it completely with the Windows 7 netbook as of October 22nd.

Chrome Extensions: Addons for Google's Browser
A bit over a year ago, Google Chrome started sailing the waters of internet browsers. Although Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox were at the prime of their battle at that moment, while Opera and Safari continued to be a fine alternative to mainstream browsers, Google still saw the room for a new browser and offered a fantastic product over a short period of time which quickly reserved a section of the market just for itself. Besides the extreme surfing speed and user interface simplicity, Chrome had its fair share of drawbacks at the beginning, as do most prematurely presented Google products, and the lack of extensions support (addons developed by others) was universally seen as the main one.

OCZ officially announces new Vertex 2 SSDs
OCZ Technology has announced its Vertex 2 Series solid state drives based on the Sandforce SF-1500 controller, the Vertex 2 Pro and Vertex 2 EX (already seen listed in couple of shops in EU). The Vertex 2 Pro use MLC NAND flash memory chips, while the top-notch Vertex 2 EX is based on the SLC NAND. Both drives will be offered in two versions depending on their purpose, so you'll either go for the SATA 3.0Gbps or the SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) interface if you are looking for some enterprise fun.

Adobe releases Flash Player 10.1
Fans of Flash Player will be pleased to hear that Adobe has finally released 10.1 player to the public today with the mobile version due to hit around October this year. Flash 10.1 (download here (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)) is not a minor upgrade for Adobe as it offers a plethora of new functionality. Peer to peer broadcasting is supported, as well as more stable streaming video support. Additionally it also offers better memory management capabilities with mobile accelerometer and multitouch utilisation. Buffer lagging is also said to be noticeably better.

Chrome OS might run PC apps
Google software engineer Gary Kacmarcik revealed that Google's Chrome OS will give users access to legacy PC applications. According to him, this process is called Chromoting and will run both modern web apps and older PC apps within the browser. Kacmarcik compares Chromoting to Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection tool for accessing far-away PCs in real-time.
