Malware Infections On The Rise

Cnet has reported that there is an alarming rise in the number of websites (intentionally or accidentally) hosting malicious software. Dasient, founded by former Googlers, has claimed that more than 640,000 websites and around 5.8 million pages are infected with malware, with figures for infected pages almost twice of what Microsoft had projected in an earlier report.

Scythe Announces Two New Versions of Katana 3 CPU cooler

Scythe has unveiled 2 new basic CPU coolers based on the Katana 3 released in March 2009. Both coolers, measuring 94 x 108 x 143mm and weighing 495g, are similar in specifications and performance with the exception of their mounting systems. The Katana 3 "Type A" (SCKTN-3000A) is compatible with AMD 754, 939, 940, AM2(+), AM3 sockets while "Type I" (SCKTN-3000I) is compatible with Intel LGA 775, 1156 and 1366 sockets.
